Shooting the Iconic British Fashion Brand

As the new collection of Vivienne Westwood womenswear and jewellery lands at DPUS, we wanted to capture a flavour of the British brand that has long been synonymous with an uncompromising, provocative style.

Few designers have challenged convention like Vivienne Westwood. In the early 1970s, alongside Malcolm McLaren, she transformed a small boutique on London's King's Road into the birthplace of British punk. Ripped fabrics, provocative graphics, tartan and safety pins weren't just design choices. They were acts of rebellion that questioned politics, tradition and the fashion industry itself.

As the brand evolved, Westwood fused British tailoring with historical references, creating collections that balanced craftsmanship with defiance. Today, even after her passing, Vivienne Westwood’s iconic Orb logo represents more than fashion. It symbolises creativity, individuality and a refusal to follow convention.
