Fashion meets dance in South London style
Two distinctive styles yet both are similar in what they represent: fashion and dance are intrinsically linked. Through expression and exhibition, both fields allow people to showcase their feelings and values in a way that requires few words to be spoken.
This ethos was what inspired us to collaborate with Taylor-Kae Knott, a young South London native who has been making serious waves in the dance and fashion scenes. A full-time model, dance artist and social media presence, his portfolio speaks for itself, with shoots already done for both Snipe and Pull & Bear, as well as an Instagram following of nearly one-hundred-and-fifty-thousand. We arranged a photoshoot and interview with him in February, to showcase some of our latest collections.

Filmed on location at Studio Spaces' White Studio, we curated several outfits together in a day that saw Taylor model pieces from the likes of Off White, Stone Island, Balenciaga and more besides. Check out our interview and teaser video below.

DPUS: Hey Taylor, thanks for taking part in our 'Introducing' series. It's great to have you with us. What would you consider your favourite brands and why do they stand out for you?
T: My favourite brands are Ralph Lauren, Palm Angels, Off-White and Sicko. I just love the vision and choices they make with fashion. They all bring a distinctive vibe and
are suitable for any occasion.

DPUS: What do fashion and dance mean to you?
T: Dance and fashion go hand-in-hand. As artists and creatives, we understand what it’s like to produce artwork and showcase it. To be able to make something that has meaning and substance creates a language to read in itself.
DPUS: How do you feel in your clothing?
T: In my clothing, I feel like how I’m supposed to. I feel good, I feel confident and I feel like I’m on my own wave. DPUS: Your fashion choices seem to inspire and influence many. Are there any tips or messages you would like to leave your followers? T: To all my people supporting the ting! In whatever you do, follow your feeling and trust it. You also have the power to inspire and build a foundation for others. It all starts by coming from a good place. Always bring something new to the table.

With a down-to-earth attitude and a character that's wise beyond his years, the future is certainly bright for Taylor-Kae Knott. We'll be forming more collaborations between fashion and artists in the coming months, so keep an eye out for those.
